Olympic White/Blonde
This 1969 Fender Telecaster represents a period when Fender craftsmanship was undergoing subtle shifts, yet still retained the essence that made these guitars legendary among players and collectors alike.
Over the decades, the guitar's original Olympic White nitrocellulose lacquer finish has naturally aged and yellowed the white through to the butterscotch blonde hue seen today.
Rare Rosewood Board
The guitar features a desirable one-piece maple neck with a dark rosewood board. The headstock is adorned with a large Fender Telecaster logo introduced in the late 60s and is fitted with the original "F" style tuning machines. The neck itself dates the instrument specifically to 1969.

In 1979, the owner decided to swap the original pickguard for a striking black metal guard, altering the guitar's aesthetic to perhaps suit a Blackguard size.
The original three-ply white pickguard (white/black/white) was carefully removed and stored in the guitar's case. Having spent considerable time off the instrument, the nitrate material of the original guard has undergone natural shrinkage, a common characteristic of vintage plastics.
Crucially, the areas underneath the original pickguard, protected from light and wear, still showcase the guitar's initial Olympic White finish in a much fresher state.

Authenticity extends to the core components of this Telecaster. The pickups, potentiometers (pots), control knobs, tuning machines, bridge, and other metal hardware are all original to the instrument. Furthermore, it comes complete with the original chrome pickup cover.
The guitar is housed in its original hard-shell Fender case, completing this vintage package.
